Summer Orientation and Welcome Week includes activities to get to know your fellow Saints, including Convocation, your formal welcome to Marymount University.
DISCOVER 101  rst-year student seminars build skills in writing, research, and critical thinking. Seminars are small, with “inquiry-guided learning” and close contact with top faculty.
Peer Mentor Program matches  rst-year students with upperclass mentors for tips on campus and D.C. life, time management and study skills. Your mentor is there for your success.
Once you’re admitted to Marymount, First Year Experience (FYE) picks up where Admissions leaves off. You’ll see us before school starts at Orientation and during summer programs and then at FYE programs and events throughout your  rst year.
The Center for Teaching and Learning provides tutoring referrals and counseling on choosing
a major and understanding campus policies
and procedures.
The Counseling Center’s licensed mental health professionals help in addressing personal, relationship, and other issues.
The Center for Career Services takes you from career discovery and planning through workshops, on-campus recruitment events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
Student Access Services (SAS) provides information, services, and referrals to students with diagnosed disabilities. Call the SAS director at (703) 526-6925 or schedule a meeting at SAS during a campus visit.
